Triumph bobber

Just starting this thread to track my build....
Building a barebones bobber out of a '69 Daytona.
Pic from last night.



I'm hoping to get a set of clubman bars this weekend for it at a local swap meet, and if I'm really lucky I'll score a magneto.

I wouldn't. I like the way it sits now. Don't go to low or you'll be scraping parts off going around the curves.

The engine sets relatively level actually. I was looking at it today and figure that I'm going to leave it just the way it is.
Some work should get done on the bike this week, so I'll post some updated photos later this week.


If anyone has a 19" front wheel with a spool hub and its straight let me know..... I'm looking to buy one.
