Daglo

I'mposting on a couple different sites to see if there is some responseAnyway, I'm wondering if some painters out there have tried laying down a red dayglo base with a candy red top coat?
Not that I think a complete paint job would look good, but maybe a little ghosting would stand out.

neon on a chopper is Geigh......

...in all seriousness, I'd stay away from NE's as a base for anything...it's only good for stripes and effects where not alot of surface area is being covered...even with UV in your clear, you're risking fading and blotching if the bike is going to spend any time in the sun. Plus, i don't see what the neon would buy you as a base for candy. when it gets covered by anything, much of the brightness is going to go away. you'd do just as well using std red or orange base....really, candies need a pearl or metallic base to make 'em work the way the're supposed to
