Risers

I got some risers. More stuff to come. This is sure taking a long time. I got these from Miller_tyme here at Club Chopper. They are super nice, and he was very prompt about getting them out.

I just got after it full bore again. I ordered some midglide trees that are 49mm, and I am going to run a Harley Rocker lowers on it, and I am about to pull the trigger on some wheels, and get a Baker 6 speed RSD, and then start the mock-up. I have some buddies chopping up my Villian tank, and I ordered several parts from Chassis Designs. I will have some pictures up shortly. Thanks for the interest. I got a bit sidetracked. I bought a Buell XB12R, and it chewed up a bit of my "chopper funds", but I am back on track.

To answer your smart-ass question! Yes....) I have had that thought actually. The reason I got the Bling frame is because it somewhat reminded me of a El Diablo frame. They are my favorite bikes by far, but I am trying not to make it a clone of anything. I have Pyrotec in Alton, Illinois helping me, and those guys are pretty inventive, so I am sure it will take on a life of it's own, and end up really unique, in fact I will probably end up ditching some of the WCC parts. Cheerio....

Sorry..... Wasn't trying to be a smart ass! Anyway, it's YOUR bike. Build it anyway you see fit. These things are just as much fun to build as ther are to ride! Enjoy!

He is who I bought them from, and he was a pleasure to do business with. He was prompt, and the risers are perfect.

Problems!

I have bought quite a bit more stuff for my build, and I figure on having the bike all finished up by the end of the year except the motor and primary. I have ran into some problems though. I got this fame in 2007, and I still do not have an MSO, and there has been no way to contact Bill Dodge, and second of all, and much worse! The bike was not set-up for a right side drive. I am not happy at all. I ask Bill several times, and he assured me that it was a right side drive. Now I either have to chop the frame up, or buy something else. I am sure this will set me back time wise. I think Bill is a nice guy, but he is not very good to do business with. Keep on trucking I guess.

I tried to start putting it together, and it was for sure made for a left side tranny.
