I'm still in the information gathering stage. I've never built a bike before and I'm tring to make sure I could actually do this. I've played around with bikes my whole life so I think I could do it.

i had never owned a bike or even worked on one before I started, although I did have some machine shop experiance.
I think everything can be figured out especially if you know your way around a bike even a little.
One think that suprised me is that you have to weld the tank mounts to the fram. Which is good because you can position the tank any way you want but if you do not have access to a welder it can become difficult.
What I liked about the kit I got is that the place I bought it let me exchange parts, so you have alot of freedom in the final look of your bike.
If you take a look at Tobor's bike and mine they are completly different but started out in the same place.
Good luck and I have nothing but good things to say about the Black Cloud Kit

So you do need access to a welder to build this kit. I did not know that. You said the primary came with the bearing and seal pressed in place. Did you need a press to assemble the clutch?

nope...the only thing that struck me as being some what hard for the average builder was access to a welder.
