Don't know who that Ariel Dakin asshole is over there on Cyril's blog is but who ever he or she is must be a paid plant from Kevin and Mona. Obviously whatever he/she is saying is blatantly false. Did you see what he/she said about Rick Fairless and then only to have Rick himself come on and just ream him/her a new asshole for the total lie they posted about him? Someone is in desperate need of a life!
I've heard the bit about me supposedly popping wheelies like there going out of style and that's the reason for the neck failure before on Cyril's blog back not long after I started my "BBC weld problems" thread in 2008 here on CC. Most likely the same person and again most likely a paid plant from Kevin and Mona to try and divert attention from the facts.

I read that but didn't think it was "ream him/her a new asshole for the total lie" Seems like the only part not true was the number of bikes not paid for. Big diff between 20 and 9...The person did try to make it sound worse then it was. Mr Fairless didn't do anything wrong.

Today I received a crate from BBC, most of the parts I was promised did show up. The one thing that didnt show up is the MSO. Without the MSO I will not be dropping the case against them...Unless one of you guys wants to buy a fully painted brand new roller lol

Most of the comments are very interesting as well. One guy said that Kevin and Mona moved out of their house after a pig's head was tossed in their front yard! Somebody is really pissed off it seems and no wonder!

I emailed them today for tech support. No response. Talked to another distributor and hear they shut their doors at Thanksgiving. No more support, not that the support was any good in the first place... I could write a book about the issue I had with my bike for 2 years... until "I" found the problem.

These two parts of the Cyril Huze article, paint a horrible picture.

Quote:
A well informed source formally working at BBC told me that deposits were still taken less than one month ago and that collaborators since a long time have tried to discourage Kevin & Mona Alsop to continue such practice when there was no hope that bikes could be completed. It seems that the number of bikes ordered by clients located in the US and abroad and never delivered would be quite high. I was also told by another source that inventory and tools would have been moved to an undisclosed location.
Quote:
My impression, and the one of a majority of people professionally close to BBC as former collaborators, vendors and clients, is that Kevin and Mona Alsop tried too long and too hard, and by all means, to maintain a business already showing signs of serious trouble at least 2 years ago. Is it terrible business judgment, greed gone too far, ego of its managers, denial of economic realities or a combination of all this that pushed the Alsops to continue taking deposits while they apparently knew very well that they didn’t have the human resources, the equipment and no more clients’ money to build their motorcycles? I don’t know for sure, but I think that if all allegations are confirmed it was for the Alspo’s taking huge professional and personal legal risks with possible very serious and long term consequences for both of them.

"The possible fraud is now in the hands of Big Bear Sheriff’s Station detectives." UUHOH!

"Potential victims include members of the military deployed in Afghanistan, military members recently discharged, wounded veterans, dealers, retirees and residents in Canada, Russia and all across the United States." TOO BAD IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN JUST A POLITICIAN.

"SFC James T. Crawford paid $21,000 and was promised a bike in a few weeks. He was notified by Mike Forbes of the Big Bear Lake plant a few weeks later he owed $7,000 more, although the bike the soldier purchased was advertised on Big Bear Choppers website at $21,500, ready to ride. Crawford won the argument and didn’t pay more."

KNOWING THEY WAS GOING DOWN THE DRAIN, THEY TRIED TO SCAM MORE MONEY FROM CRAWFORD AFTER HE PAID IN FULL!!!!!..... WOW

looks like they hired good business lawyers. If a corp owns a foriegn subsidiary and goes bankrupt the foreign country will not allow the us courts to attach that subsidiary. This is how you move money when you're in trouble
