Securing timing rotor

Any suggestions on how to secure the rotor for the electronic timing module (Crane Cams HI-4) on an S&S 100? Is a single lock washer enough, or does it also need to be locktited? I originally followed BBC's instructions and just used the supplied allen screw to hold in the rotor, which resulted in the rotor coming loose under the timing module, and damaging both the module and sensor.

I use blue Loctite - no washer

Yes, the stock HD bolt is a hex head

The Hi-4s come with an allen head socket cap screw (without a washer) to mount the rotor

Any reason to not use a lock washer and locktite with the allen screw? I am just a little paranoid after having to buy a new timing module to replace the damaged one.

i dont use lockwashers so i cant answer that. locktite yes.
but i have seen more rotors coming loose on this forum in the last 5 months than i have seen in 20 years so i would do something differently, now they are popping off left and right.
