Clutch to baker right side drive question

I hooked up the clutch to the transmission and understand that when the clutch lever is pulled it turns the mechanism which rolls on the bearings and pushes out up against the rod in the transmission. It seems that when i put it all back together, the mechanism is still not making contact with the rod that comes through the tranny. I adjusted the clusch to almost all the way in (maybe about a quarter inch is past the lock nut). Still no contact..... Any help?

Wrong length rod ? There are different length rods available. I had the wrong length and had to get a longer one. Ive heard of people cutting theres to a custom length.

I realized what the problem was....the clutch adjustment allen had to be flush with the lock nut. This pushed the rod out far enough to make contact...Thanks.
