New to club chopper as of today, My 2008 Sled is ready to ship

Hello all hope all is well..

My name is Len and im from London Ontario witch is about 2hrs from Toronto and i am a new member as of today...

I Did not Know anything about this site untill today.

I have ordered a (Sled Pro Street 2008) a while ago and just got my call that it is ready to ship.. YaHOOOOO.

Now comes the fun, make sure you do a complete inventory when you get the kit...BBC is great to deal with and was a lot of help when I built mine. If you have any questions this is the place to come. I wish I knew about this place when I built mine.

QUESTION: how long were you waiting for it to ship?
i've ordered an athena chopper and they told me 12 weeks, that'll be may 2nd. i think i'll be waiting alot longer.

I built a sled 300 prostreet last year. Recommend doing almost a complete mock up before paint. You will feel much more comfortable about how things go together and less chance of screwing up a new paint job........Good Luck

I agree, I'd build the whole bike before you paint.I didn't run the wires on mock up, wish I would have.

welcome, and post plenty of pics. mock up is a major part i thought, get it almost ridable then tear it down. oh, and, good luck

Welcome! Good to see new people coming here all the time. Lots to learn from lots of people here.
And do post up pics of your build and never hesitate to ask questions. There are some things you run into that are particular only to a specific model. The DVD set you get is helpful, but it can't and doesn't cover everything.
