While the new seat is with the saddler, I'm still running the "old" seat... sunny sunday ride, looking good

@Spade 115 Thanks man! Really love this bike.
The new seat is still with the saddler, he's doing the leather now. He already did the padding and I was doing a test ride to see if it does fit etc.
Since I was riding both of my rigid choppers with rigid seats, I have to say, with the new seat it's a different world. Damn, way more comfortable. Sure, I knew that, but I was still surprised how much better it is.
Really can't wait to get the seat back and ride.
Thinking to do one more seat pan in a different style for my other chopper too.
I mean, I'm not "old" yet, but we all get older and my back isn't the same anymore...

Looks good brother. I'm looking forward to the new seat...
My bikes been held captive for 2 months now. The garage door came down on a leaning 2x4 and that threw everything off. Then it slipped on the way down losing the two cable attachment points and slammed down with a vengeance. Broke every window. Fucken thing almost squashed me like a bug.
The new door was on the truck heading to my house a weeks ago when some 19 year old girl ran a red light and smashed into the truck. Totaled the truck, the car and of course my door. Of course she was texting on her phone
It's not easy to find a garage door these days. Most of them are sitting in a container 20 miles off the coast of Long Beach Ca.
Oh yeah, I'm also going through my second round of covid. Our oldest daughter moved home with our grandkids 4 weeks ago. I guess I should be happy that they brought me something

OP, I hope you don't mind.. I'm thinking about changing the color on my bike. I'm thinking a candy rootbeer.
Let me know what you guys think. I'm open to any suggestions....
Its powder coated so I'll go that same route..
Thanks guys

It's getting cold outside. The leaves fall and the summer is gone... just enjoying the last rides for this year.

Hey Spade115, thanks man. Apprechiate it.
Since the two bikes have the same frame, front end, motor etc. I tried to make them as different as somehow possible, without doing anything excessive.
I wanted to keep the look of a classic chopper on both, but in a different way.
Both bikes are finished. Only thing I will do, probably this winter, is a new seat for BBC1. Since the new seat for BBC2 is so much more comfortable, I just enjoy riding more with that bike.
I will try to make the same seat for BBC1, but in a different style. Have to think about it a little bit, but most probably I will make the same seat pan but in a different shape in the back. And sure my saddler has to do something to make it look different too.
We'll see, but for the moment I just keep riding, as long as the weather allows it .
