WTB - BBC Sled 300 Pro Street

If anyone knows of one for sale please PM me with more info. I would prefer an unfinished project (complete) - 'lost interest', 'divorce forces sale', etc.
Always been a big fan of this bike and want to DIY - I thrive on projects and garage time!
I've been seeing a few low mile completed ones out there - in the $16K and below range. If I HAVE to I can Un-Build one and make it MY way.
Thanks in advance

After all the bad press you still want one? look up lightning Larry on this site he can fill you in, or read the over 100 pages on his thread. Good Luck.

Joe's - thanks for the reply. I DO get it. I've posted this before... I joined here in '05 - mostly a lurker trying to learn. BBC 'walked on water' back then - its a total 180 now. An AMAZING transformation to look back and see how much and how FAST it changed . You guys are all pro's and I trust this group.
I've always like the look of the Sled 300 PS and because of their poor reputation and other antics I can pick one up for low dollars. It seems like the PS sled was NOT part of the frame recall so I'm not all that worried. I just wanna build a PS bike.
In keeping with my desire to learn as much as possible I will take your advice and hook up with lightning Larry.
Thanks again

Yes & No.... Watched a 2K mi one go on Ebay for just under $14K - nice as new. Shoulda bought it and re painted it the way I want it. Actually saw several with approx 2K mi for $14-16K - WAY LESS than what they sold for 7-10 years ago. Amazing!
Found a 07 in Ohio with only 500 mi but the guy wants more than I'm willing to pay. Actually looked at it on a recent trip from PA to Detroit - gorgeous machine!
Also an un finished project in Cali. An 05 - most of the parts are there - pretty good price but, its a 250 tire bike and will need finished, a sprotor and tires to replace the 10 yr old ones. He cut both fenders (i don't like the way they turned out) and THOSE suckers are big $$ from BBC. It may end up costing a lot to finish once I get all the surprises with missing stuff and re-do's
So.... Yes, I found some - No, I haven't pulled the trigger yet
Thanks for the reply - you got a line on one??
