I received an e-mail from the editor of the Huze blog about my post and thought you might like to read my reply!
I made the comment about if they were selling the bike for 6.5 million that people lost, according to the new owner.
The comment was made in reference to a statement by the owners that it would not be good for their business to re-pay what amounted to 6.5 million dollars that customers lost when BBC closed it's doors. This money was in the form of deposits made for bikes to be built and delivered, which never happened, and those people lost their money in the bankruptcy that followed. I feel this situation is at best a giant black eye on the custom motorcycle business and all of the people who work so very hard to be stand-up about their dealings with customers. I have never had any dealings with BBC or any of their distributors and never will, based on the fact that I have to work hard for my money and have seen and read the problems that others have had in trying to deal this company. To me, these people coming right back into the business is tantamount to a slap in the face of those hard working people who believed enough in the product to spend their money and get nothing in return.

Do the Ass-slops still have a legal obligation to fix their defective frames? Or did all that get buried when they went belly up?
Seems scary that there's a bunch of bikes out there with the necks just waiting to snap off and injure someone else without anything being done about it.

Hey jedi,
To the best of my knowledge it all got buried when BBC went under and now the new company, being that Simon Scott only purchased the "intellectual property", is not responsible for any of BBC's past issues. Pretty much sucks for anyone with a BBC bike no matter what!
