I'd rather beat on this anvil (my wife and daughter standing next to my 590 pound ANVIL) with a hammer......

That was my 590 pound HAY BUDDEN anvil. I had it for a while and recently sold it for $6300.00. You're right....very valuable. It is the THIRD LARGEST Hay Budden known in existence.

A few years ago, I owned the largest HAY BUDDEN ever: 701 pounds, with original anvil stand. I got just shy of $10,000 for it from a local collector.

Been messing with anvils for 15 years.....fun hobby.

Right now, this is the only ANVIL I have for sale. Its on ebay: 160111545349

It is a MINT Condition Fisher--Norris anvil. Made about 1915-1920. Great anvil with original stand.

I've bought and sold literally HUNDREDS of anvils and vises over the years.

Anvils are cool.

I still use a 2' section of train track. Someday I want a real anvil.
