JayBrake hand control HELP?

Alright i am 95% done with the build. But trying to finsh up the wiring and start it up and ran into a problem with the Jaybrake hand controls. I dont by any means claim to be the smartest guy in the world, but i cant figure this shit out. I have a set of Jaybrake Classic hand controls, hydraulic clutch and brake control. Jaybrake sells these 2 button micro switches that work with these to avoid bulky switch housings. So i bought 2, here is where the problem starts. The switch itself is thicker than than the housing and then you add thw wire coming out of the switch and theres no way they will work, you cant bolt them to the hand control. the only possible way i can see this workin is if I have both of the hand controls milled out upper and lower, and i just cant belive that $600 for controls and $200 for switches that i would then have to take them in and spend more to have them milled! Please tell me im missing something. I have included some photos so you can see what im talking about.

Call them, they are helpful. The ones I got from them have the switch buttons on the curved part, not where they bolt together - but that was over 10 years ago and they could have changed them.
