Wheel Question

Ok, So I am going to have the bike running today (God willing I dont get home late o.0)

I have to remove the rear wheel and was thinking of ordering spokes but HAVE no idea how to determine what I need. o.0

Will have to check axle size when I get home but what I know now (Not alot still mind you) is I am running this set up

100/90-16 Front (Mag)
130/70-16 Rear (Mag)

I want to run a
100/90-19 front (Spoke)
130/70-16 rear (Spoke)

Figure lighter weight.
Springier..

I know the rear takes a 30mm socket to remove the axle nut (Not sure if this helps)

no where online does it say 7/8 axle or 1 inch axle so have been on the fence about doing anything really incase its a weird size o.0

Any reccomendations you all?

Thanks

You just need to know your axle size 3/4" or 1" then order your spoke wheels and a new front tire. May or may not need different spacers but won't know that til you get your wheels.

its not as hard as you think it might be
if you measure your spindle width and length and that would give you an inside and outside diameter of what size bearing you would be needing (if they dont come with them)
then your half way there
spacers can always be made to suit as ive just fitted an after market 21" front wheel on my road king by getting a new spindle made with new spacers and all fitted and done in a day or two

Not sure what bike you are talking about, but for spokes the best source I know of is
http://www.buchananspokes.com/
I got two sets of SS (40 spoke) for a set I had made, 21 front & 17x5.5 rear, $115 each set. My wheel shop wanted $250 for EACH set!
I had the H-D hubs laying on the shelf for years and standard H-D 21 front. The only thing I had to buy was the Excel 17x5.5... $300! Anyway, even after powder coating the rims and $65 to build and true each wheel it was less than buying a set from Black Bike.
Buchanan spokes is very helpful with identifying correct hub sizes, spokes etc.
