Mobil 1 V twin and Red Line Shock proof......seems to work OK for me. I change the engine oil and filter every 6 months and the tranny oil once a year.

I use (and have always used) straight 50-weight Dino oil. Harleys have been running just fine on that for over a hundred years.

I'm kinda with you there, I use straight 50 (its hard to change an old dog)

I'm kinda with ya cept...I refuse to pay stealership prices for something that ain't no different then any other oil......and, for the cooler weather I have changed to 20/50....use valvoline racing oil, why racing you ask? Cause I run a top fuel burner.....
