Their website is even SAMCROWS (http://www.samcrows.com/fr_society.cfm). They claim to have started in 1901
Dear gawd... I read their "history" and their interpretation of "EST.1901"
Talk about disingenuous. Apparently it's Halloween all year long for those guys.

not true. liking bikes and riding does not a biker make. well, not in my world anyway...there's a lot more to being a biker than that...no more than liking churches and wearing black suits makes you a priest.

You may be correct, to a point. I built both of my scoots, and I think anybody that builds and wrenches on their rides themselves puts them above the others. I will also concede the point that wearing leather or other stereotypical "biker" garb won't make you a biker either. It's just that this dick-measuring contest has been going on for quite a while. Like I said before, if everybody could just appreciate another's enthusiasm for the open road...

My 1% friends think I'm an enthusiast, my friends who don't ride think I'm a biker. I just know that I've gone an entire year of my life without owning a car but I've never not owned a motorcycle.

-clubs demand respect...kinda a live and let live affair...its not brand new news

-now so anarchy or armageddon dont need to worry about rico do they...the latter sounds like an attorney bored at his job if its a lonely guy, thats to dam funny

wow-wee
so a biking associate calls me up after seeing a SOA show and says he want to start up a club, and he wants me to be the v.p.
he says he has three guys already to join.
so i asked him "do they have bikes?"
"no" he says, "but they are going to buy some."
needless to say it was a comedy of answers after every question asked from that point on. then his wife called and told him to get his ass home, and pick up some fem pads on the way there.
... haven't talked to him in about three months now.

This reminds me alot of another club that claims to be hard core bikers but has the same kind of rules, and has cops and FEDs as members. they have even had some problems with other clubs.but, they have grown a bit. Im sure you've heard of www.ironordermc.com

one thing that I could never grasp about mc clubs is that its allegedly about freedom of the open road yet the amount of club rules and the money you pay to the club takes away the so called freedom and infact the rules are far more harsher as is the punishment compared to society rules which the clubs are going against

I say each to their own but if I want freedom then I ride my chop with a few friends, no rules, no heirarchy etc, just a good day or weekend away with friends a few drinks and music.

Being a "biker" is about building wrenching and riding your own bikes. Not about wearing a patch.
