Looking for a '47 VA License Plate

I'm looking for a 1947 Virginia Motorcycle license plate.

I've done the internet search thing and checked out all the plate dealers I could find with no luck.

I thought I'd post this here since some of you might go to get together's, shows, etc. where guys are selling antique tags.

If you find one let me know - and how much (I don't want to go crazy with the price but I know it ain't gonna be cheap).

Try Ebay. Lots of plate collectors selling on there.

Been on Ebay looking for a long time, no luck. When I go to old car gatherings there is always a few people selling plates. That's why I thought I'd post it up here, you never know who might run into one selling bike plates.

It seems you have my kind of luck. I did a google search plus a few others. 1947 was one of the few years not found.

I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Good luck to you.
