Sorry, there nothing ratty about that bike that a good wash and a couple of hour of polish couldn't fix. Nice Bike but it's no rat.

Back in the day a Rat Bike was like a side show freak, a real odditiy that only a few guy had and took pride in, noboby wanted their bike to be known as a rat. The newer generation hears the term "rat bike" and thinks it's cool/Kool (or however they spell it these days) and try to label the low budget build with it. I wish you pups would quit trying to change the way thing were to fit the way you want them to be. Old school can't be a new build, a ratbike is a piece of shit on wheels, a bobber alway started out as a stocker, and a chopper can't be bought off a showroom floor.

All of the bikes, hell even the mini bike are too nice to be called rat bikes, I posted a couple of real rat bike below the bottom one will give you an idea of what a rat bike is. Now as far as low budget, garage built, death machines go you guys are right on the money!

The bike at the top is what is concidered an Art Bike and the one below is a true rat bike. I suppose When I started this thread I should have asked for people to post pictures of rat bikes and low budget builds but it is to late now. the thread is what it is, just a place to post Whatever someone thinks is a low budget or rat bike and to have some fun. I am just glad that Us Pups can still have fun and enjoy ourselfs.

I have always liked the look of Brushed Aluminum and Flat Paint. I also love the look on peoples faces when they ask " where did you get/buy that ?" and I say " I made it, I built it ". Some people can't get there brains around that concept.Kinda like if it is not built by a "Pro" it is a death trap.

In my experience the pros sometimes dont build it like their life depends on it, like i do. Besides if i build it i know it in and out, just the way i like it.
