Chopper of the Year Vote Now!!

Club Chopper's Chopper of the Year 2008!

Let's get this rolling! For the past 10 months we've voted for our favorite rides, all bad ass bikes, but now it's time to see who comes out on top! Be sure to check all the entry's before you submit your vote! Also a big thanks to all that participated over the past year whether you entered your ride or took the time to vote! Thanks all!

On a side note, you'll notice that we only have 10 entrys this year instead of the normal 11 we usually have. This was due to server issues in January so we didn't have a COTM that month.

1. 227frogman/February

Ulitma 120"

Ok, heres the deal with "The SpeedChop"!

Modified CCS frame 4,5 up 45 degrees, Custom made wheels (18x8,5 and 21x3,25 + Metz 240 and 120), Ultima El Bruto 120’’, Typhoon carb, Ultima 6 speed, BDL 3 inch transmission, ICM custom made handlebars, Tolle fork 21 inch over + 7 degree triple tree, K-Tech foot controls, K-Tech hydraulic clutch, OMP calipers front and rear sprotor, modified Crime Scene Choppers Oil tank, belt cover and filter, One-offs (exhaust/fuel tank/fender struts etc) by Owner and Chopperhead, Red candy over gold microflake and white pearl - paint by Sean Egan Custompaint and pinstriping by PeWe

Now, it's time for a complete tear down - working some details and re-painting the whole thing...

Thanks/ Jonas

FRAME: done by Dave at www.tanksbytigman.com
- 42 degree rake, -2 downtubes, no top stretch, gooseneck
- 91 XL 883 with Wiseco 1200 kit
- 16 front/rear Cokers
- Copper flake seat by Roberti Customs
- HD front brake/GMA rear both actuated by the brake lever
- powdercoat by United Technical Coating in haverhill, MA
- my own sissy bar and exhaust
- ribbed rear fender
- el cheapo headlight
- DNA -2 springer
- 70's engraved sprocket cover
- build time: 1100 posts on CC
- 10 $ egay taillight

i know that there are much prettier, more bad-ass chops out there but I think that this bike demonstrates what Club Chopper can do for someone. CC has been there from nearly step 1 through completion and i couldn't have gotten it to where it is without all the help on this board. So I view this COTM thing more as a testament to the value of CC and what someone (like me) with little experience can do with the help from some very knowledgeable people.

many thanks everyone.
