I thought it was pretty good. That last scene --the conversation in the hospital between dude's mom and the ex-wife, that was brutal.

HOG members will probably start claiming HD parking lots as their "territory" but I can deal with that.

When I saw the advertisements I immediately thought of the book "under and alone"...

Great book - the Mongols and an ATF agent that infiltrates...there are some parallels here...

I recorded it so I will give my two cents tomorrow. I also love tv because I work for Comcast and they sign my pay check. I get like 10,000 channels but only use Spike for the UFC and cartoons for my son.

I didn't see a nudity warning, only the big Mature L V, language and violence warning.

That was a great book. The documentary I watched last light also,"outlaw bikers" parralleled the book way more than the Sons of Anarchy. All about cops in the HA'S Scull Valley chapter.

I watched that last night as well. Kinda hard to believe that the HA's bought into an unknown MC that was fabbed together out of nothing but cops.

And I like to see how the cops always get accused of becoming too involved in the biker lifestyle. Inevitably these cops all start to like the feeling they get being in an MC with all the power and privileges that they acquire.

I thought it sucked. I would put the show up there with being about as realistic as an old Mcgyver episode. I did like the brand new vest with the brand new patches with the pretty new looking tattoos. Peg Bundy was pretty hot. I'd be surprised if it makes it a full season.

was pretty much exactly what I expected. Unrealistic and scripted to a fault, with lots of leather and bravado badassery. I thought it was crazy to see how many familiar faces popped up in the cast, though - like every two-bit part male actor in Hollywood wanted to get in on it.

I almost want to call up A.D. Farrow today and ask how many Dyna fairings they've taken orders for. Milenko said it best - this ought to do for MC's what OCC did for the world of motorcycles... bring it into your living room and make it all warm and fuzzy and completely unreal.

But, yeah, I'll probably watch it, just to see where it goes. Not like I'm up at Quaker Steak this year on Weds... no bike!!

You already know the plot for the season.

Vice pres. of the club, (after finding his father's journal), wants to bring the club back to how his father (the original pres. and founder) wanted it to be. A happy, happy, joy, joy,.. type of H.O.G. club.

His mother, (Peg) and her boyfriend (maybe husband?), who is the current pres. want to keep it as is (running guns, drugs,etc..) to reap the rewards,"$$".

Easy, simple, hollywood script.

Kind of my thoughts, but still interesting and different than the other crap on TV so I'll probably give it a go.
