Great looking ride, Freak. I haven't seen "nous defions" since SOT at Mott Lake in North Carolina. Know the spot?

got photos in my gallery
The odometer should flash a two digit (my current is 04), then a three digit (My current 504) therefore I now have 4506 smiling miles on ther beast. Expect another 2 K before I send in the fender for repaint.
tst40 know it well. (Did "The Peak" with a few friends one day, what a rush)

I thought so..."nous defions" is an obscure reference unlike "de oppresso liber" or "sua sponte"...sounds like we have more in common than choppers

Did a second check just to make sure.
on for a second, maybe two and let go should give you trip. Getting out of trip is the same, just make sure you hit the button when "trip" is displayed. If you hit it when mileage is on it will reset mileage. I use this for gas range. Getting 145 miles to reserve (without horsing around)
about 3 second hold should switch between speedo and mileage.
Let me know if it doesn't work for you. Will look into it more

Well
Your right on. Im at 3660. Ive only done a 500 and 1000 mile service and a few oil changes. Im due for the 2500 mile service and then some. I just looked in the manuel and it appears I havent missed much. Everything is just inspect other than fluids. I have had that done.
Hows your clutch freak? You have to let almost the clutch completely out before it ingages the trans. My shop says you cant adjust an hydrolic clutch.

My clutch is the same. You may be able to adjust the clutch lever but you can't adjust the hydraulic system. The lever pushes a piston in the slave cylinder. The piston pushes the oil etc. etc. Can't compress the oil to change the engagement point!
Check your manual real close. There are certain disqualifiers contained in the service portion, like the 500 mile and the 1000 mile have to be done at an HBS qualified shop or... you void the warranty!
How's your swing arm? I have a constant problem with belt rub. The final drive belt rubs on the tire. The tire has also rubbed the paint off the right side swing arm. Been adjusted at the dealers many times but still rubs. Flakes of rubber on swing arm and in wheel. Gotta clean it up after every ride.

I got a manual. They appear to be generic to HBS not bike model specific. You have to fill in some blanks with the vin etc. Your dealer should have one for each bike he sells.
If you don't have any luck let me know. I have a contact in the factory that may be able to get a manual to you.
might try asking factory direct

Hey Freak
Ive had mine in to adjust the rear tire also. My tire rubbs the belt only. My rear rim does get all dusty from the rubbing. I guess ive been consumed with my clutch problems I basically forgot about the rub. Today im going to a show in Warenton Virginia. I did some checking last night over the hole bike. Does your negative battery terminal get alot of corosion. I had to repalce my negative ground nuts and bolts. Which reminds me about the biggest goof by HBS. Dont know if you ride in the rain. If you do you know what im talking about. All the rear tire water drops down inside the battery box. It either an oversight or my bike is missing some type of splash pannel. If you take off your seat you can see the rear tire. Not a good design. I covered the opening with some gasket for now. I was riding in on only wet streets one day and the entire bike shorted out. Took off my seat and the wires and battery was drenched. Dumb Dumb HBS

HBS Wicked
Hey Bobabooey,
I just picked up my 04 Wicked from Lifestyle Cycles in Anaheim, CA. Just getting ready to turn 1000 miles on. I love the bike. I found the company through a layout in Street Chopper on the Torentor hardtail model in 2003. I visited Hellbound in October of 03 to check them out and I was sold.
I noticed some have had issues with manuals and such. Lifestyle took care of making sure I got all of that plus a quick demo on the odd stuff like the speedo workings, etc. If I had a question they couldn't answer, Hellbound did when I called them.
Hope you like yours as much as I like mine. I hope to get a pic on here shortly.

Does your Red Light, on the gauge, come on when the motor is off?

Red light is the oil pressure light and it comes on when the ignition is on and the motor is off b/c there is no oil pressure. I hope that is what you were asking.
