Posting Pictures step by step.

Ok, many have questions on how to upload larger pictures and show them in threads. You should read through this.

Go to the gallery (see the clubchopper maltese cross at left)

When in gallery, click the "upload photos" link near the top right and you'll see the screen below.

Now click the "browse" button to find a picture on your hard drive.

Now click "upload/submit" button

Now you can add a description, title, and keywords.

Be sure to choose a category that best suits the image your are uploading. No matter where you place them, you'll always be able to go to your gallery and see everything you've ever uploaded.

Now you're ready to actually process the file so click "process file".

Now you'll see your image in the gallery for all to see. Click on the thumbnail to see the big picture (some may be of larger size and you can click on the image again to see an even bigger version).

Notice down in the description area the url to the image with IMG tags around it. You should left click the mouse button at the beginning of that url and while holding the left button down, drag the mouse across to highlight the whole url (include the [ IMG ] tags). Now let off of the left mouse button and hit the right mouse button while hovering over the highlighted area and click on "copy".

Ok, now go to the forum area of choice and either reply to a thread or start a new thread like you would any other post. Now, if you right click anywhere in the reply box, a little menu will pop up and you click paste. Now you'll see the url with the IMG tags in the text box. You can type a message or just click the submit button as you normally would.

Now you'll see the the line in the reply box that pulls the image into the thread, so either add text to the message (note: do not type anything between the "img" tags otherwise the picture will not show up), or go ahead and hit the "submit reply" button.

Wholly friggin cow, a picture in the post! You're now an expert!

man i must be dumb or something!!! i have followed the instructions to the letter, but keep getting an error mssg. " time taking, greater than allowed...180 seconds" what does this mean?? i can email pictures to friends and stuff, but can't seem to do it here, i am sure it is me,...BUT is anybody else getting this error. ...p/s: i am not computer savy at all so i am very sure it is me!!!

ace, dude...thanks, but how the hell do i email you??? DAMN!!! i can build a chopper and "hop" an impala, but i just can't figure this computer S*#T out!!! is there a spot i should be at to email and i don't know about it?????!!

thanks man. i had no idea how to get pics into my gallery. unfortunately i don't have a camera so i can't show what my finished projects look like.
