Oh my god, why do girls like him? I met him a couple of times at the Duece. (I live near Melbourne, his shop) and he's ugly if you ask me. I guess girls like the bad boys. His freaking hair looks like it's never washed, like he's some kinda of homeless man living on the streets of Jaimaica. If you buy into that than you might like his business partner better. He actually had his canine teeth sharpened so he looks like a vampire. now that is such a lame attempt to get chicks that I refuse to do business with them. they are in the business just to bang chicks.

dont fall for the high-school drop out loosers who happened to get lucky tig-welding a few pieces of metal together.

Odessa, i agree that those guys seem a lil wacky, but you do know Billy is no highschool dropout, right? I believe he did MIT and was offered a job at NASA, but turned it down in favor of the chopshop...

I don't know that he's in it just for the chicks. I think he has some talent, he builds some pretty killer bikes that have an old school look. If I was doin what he's doin for a living and making the money that he is making I would be having some fun with it too! The "chicks" are just an added bonus!

My thoughts about Billy Lane..hmmm.
The man does have some talents.
Far as looks..each there own.
Date my daughter..now that would depend our little chat behind the old wood pile, but at least one would know real quick w/the hair & tats & body actions compare to a suit and tie.

Wouldn't be a boring world if we all ate & thought & chase same style female, plus rode the same model chopper.

Well I am only chiming in as I have read a couple responses here that I do not agree with. But then again ... I am also a long haired choppa freak!

Billy is KQQL in my book ... He is a good dude, a great designer, awesome fabricator, and one hell of a fun guy to party with!

Quafed short hair and brand new clothes do not make man either ... so to judge on looks alone is weak!

Billy Lane's bio

Born and raised in Miami, custom-bike builder Billy Lane holds an associate of science degree in mechanical engineering from Florida State University and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Florida International University.

His father got him interested in cars and hot rods early on, so Billy had quite a bit of mechanical knowledge before going to engineering school. Then, in 1989, he bought his first bike while in college. The bike was basically in pieces so he had to learn how to put it together. But with the help of some old-timers, he learned a lot and fast.

After college, Billy got a job with his brother working on bikes, then went out on his own. He started making custom parts as gifts for his friends when he was "poor." Eventually, a demand built up for these six-gun parts outside of his peer group, which led to the 1995 formation of Choppers Inc. in Melbourne, Fla.
