Respect, Respect, Respect!!!

We must respect each other around here, and many are simply sick of the bickering ..Its BS. People should be able to ask legitimate questions around here without turning into a friggin circus.

What this is doing is taking new folks who have questions that need to be answered and alienating them, as the most sincere intentions some how turn in to a steaming pile of crap, and they are left wondering what they did wrong. STOP! THINK! Then post something that is useful to the group without pushing someoneís buttons.

RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT. Live it every day here, please. While there are some folks who probably donít care for each other much, we are generally a tight nit group.ÖSo many great folks, and we donít need to be pissing in each others cheerios while on line. If you canít find a way to communicate in a respectful manner, keep it to yourself.

Having said that, I know many of us are close enough that we can spar a bit in fun, but you must keep in mind that things are easily taken out of context when written, so be sure you have the relationship you think you do before making jabs at your buddies. Just common sense stuff that seems to elude us lately.

I hope you understand the concern here and do everything you can personally to make this place better every day. This is still the greatest group of chop enthusiasts in the world, but we are a huge bunch now, and we need to be mindful of the things that have made this place a success and have won each of us so many friendships over the last year or so....

Thanks for your attention to this, and take care.

depite my first comment. this is a great site and i have gotten to know many people. i have been really suprised by some posts and there lack of respect for a new member or a simple question somebody asked, just because they dont know much about bikes. knowbody knows everything and everybody had to start from the beginning at some point. most memebers are really great and its just a small handfull that cause problems (you know who you are). listen to the "B" man.

thanks for letting us hang out here.

yes, yes, yes ....... well said big b!

i'm sick and tired of these "seniors", calling new members noobies and treat them with no respect.

the forum is developing and sustaining with noobies.

let the noobies post their threads, let them make their mistakes - nobody is obliged to answer and as long as the threads or posts are not offensive, i enjoy reading them

As one of the NFG 's to join *read here a while* I hope to ask and receive help and no doubt will get the same respect that I give. There's some smart people here and a century of experience, that's what the true value is to a site like this.
It's a given in cyber space a certain percentage anywhere will be ass wipes, but isn't it ironic that of all ones years of experience a 16yo girl half way around the globe summed it up as well as will ever be said even after years of worn and torn service of life will ever put it. **I doubt someone who didnt respect others before will respect them after reading this post**
Makes all the rest a semantical regurgitation

Peace out

Sollis,

You could not have said it any better. I don't post much on here but I do get alot out of the build strings and tech questions. This forum is great for that type info. As for the drama it is real boring. A lot of people on this forum really like to grab some attention for themselves. Guess they don't get enough in the real world.

Well said Alisa...wise beyond your years it appears ...as is your comment about parents yelling at kids for stuff they did at the same age...I often have to put myself in check, or at least try, when trying to work through something with one of my kids, make myself remember that I did some of the same things, that it wasn't easy being a teenager when I was coming up and I would think it is much harder now.
