2004 Bourget update

Haven't been on for a while. But want to update on my 04 Bourget chopper I bought as a roller. I had been looking for an S&S engine and general information on the bike. I contacted Bourget Bike Works and talked to Brigitte. A very knowlageable lady. She was out going and more than helpful. She sent me a bunch of information and pictures of this bike when it was new. I told her I was having trouble finding an engine I could afford to put in the bike. She later contacted me and said she had an engine that was used in demo bikes over the years. We made a deal and she had the engine rebuilt and re polished. I know have an S&S 124 CU engine and a Jims 6 speed for the bike. And with her help and parts I need the bike should be returning to the living. Just adding that BBW is still in business and that Brigitte is a great source for parts and knowledge on the Bourget bikes. I hope I can also pick up some help on this site as I go forward. This is the first time I have owned something like this and looking forward to seeing it back on the road.
Thanks
