My Evo & 5 speed in FLH 4 speed frame

Basically completed my transplantation of rigid evo bobber with 5 speed onto Kraft tech FLH frame designed for Evo , but with 4 speed tran

Not without challenges, it it,s fun in itself .
Some minor details left to do, but it,s rideable .
Man , the suspension is great.
Now work on rear fender, either close to tire on Swingarm, or a solid on the frame, short, sharp , raised up, like in sports bikes.

Nice ride. I think your right on the rear fender, mount it to the swing arm if you can.

Oil out of foot clutch cable. Little, but annoying

Everything is ok with the bike. One thing is annoying and embarrassing

is transmission fluid drips a bit out of foot clutch cable, right where the stupid adjuster is located . If it was higher , it might not com out normally.?

I have heard oil coming on regular Harley cables , up, I assume with pressure.

I have another shorter cable, on my chopper , the adjustment is right by the pedal, definitely higher- not leaking.

Wonder if overfill. Or vent issue , or , even if they are not a prob
Em, then the design of the cable and gravity inevitably make it happen?

Any other possibilities?

I assume the cable entry is below the transmission oil level. O- ring keeps oil from outside, but how about inside the cable jacket- right to the point of adjuster?

Any help or even sharing experiences would be appreciated.

What clutch is that on the bike with the open chain? Can't see it, but it looks like a belt pulley
that's not used..what am I looking at? or is that the auto clutch?

It's a house salad of parts- 1993 harley basket/clutch on which instead of original double sprocket i machined a bolted on single sprocket 50 T.
the motor sprocket is actually a 25 no offset transmission sprocket, opened up to bolt on to Ultima front pulley collar.

the backing plate/bearing /starting support is half of karata primary.

and the auto clutch is York clutch designed for BDL, but i was able to install it on the harley hub. the adjustment of rpm engagement is achieved by placing different thickness spacers under 6 holding bolts: the thinner- the earlier engagement.

Thanks fellas, tomorrow will post a picture with rear fender. Decided with the fixed to the frame, sporty ducktail. Always can change to Swingarm fixed.

Here comes the fender

Here,s my new fender on the FLH. Used sheet of 1/8 aluminum , 3000 series, pretty malleable.
Did it in a manner similar to my chopper.

It started like this
And finished like this

TY. Also relocated my tail lights to much better location on the new fender. And cleaned up the Swingarm from the ugly taillight brackets.

Thanks. When I was building my scoot I had in mind perhaps the most aggressive silhouette of FLH bobber I have ever seen. The guy doesn,t have a fender and I believe his total rake is closer to 40 degree.
. I loved it.

You need to have at least something back there, a partially wet back is better than completely saturated, not to mention the looks..
