Oil vs fuel vs transmission line?
Got into Advanced auto parts for ' oil lines'- they had 'transmission' line, 3/8".
I don't believe i saw this before[ or paid any mind ].
But now i got curious, what the hell did i use before???
Can it be used for motor oil lines? for fuel?

I dunno - what year/model is the vehicle?
Is it automatic transmission or manual?

It,s just bulk generic black hose I cut for oil and fuel lines for my projects. Never really paid attention, but now had some doubts: what if gasoline or alcohol in it eats up this hose, or vise versa , if the line stays ‘ fuel’ , can it be used for oil?

Oil temperature may play a role here. Gas lines may not be temp rated for air-cooled oil temps

Standard fuel line is capable of supporting gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, ethanol, and oil. and vice versa...as long as you are sure it is not vacuum or heater hose..and for fuel injection, it has to be high pressure..

Thanks guys, I guess I will now after a while if the lines hold.
The previous bulk black lines have not failed me before.
