:Gday ,can anybody recommend the tuffest final drive belt out there , are the ultima ones good ?

Harley or S&S are the best I have found......They are more like the Gates style belts and seem to hold up better than the more pliable Dayco style belts like the Ultima belts....

Yes , I did considerable reading on belts,, and it is true, the Gates Harley Davidson belts are supposed to be the best, made from carbon fiber and not Kevlar..

Not sure if it is the best, but I've heard good reviews about the S&S.

Belt hold your pants up, chains are for motorcycles...

I have never had a belt last long at all with anything over 100hp... if you push it, it will blow the teeth off.. the cost to convert to chain is about the same price of a new belt.
