Front wheel bearing swap

Hey Guys. I picked up a XS650 Chop over the winter. Would like to put a 21 front spoke wheel on. Few rims available with the 5/8 bearing needed to use stock axle. Alot of 3/4 and 1 inch. I've been reading here and there that I can use any rim and swap the bearing set to 5/8. Is this true? Thanks.

What size is the current wheel rim? Looks sweet the way it is going to a larger rim will change geometry of bike, front end travel, trail etc. meaning the bearing will not be your only problem.

Well its a 19 now but what I've seen the rim grows to 21 but the side wall of tire shrinks making the overall diameter the same. Shouldn't change any geometry at all.

You should be able to find bearings that will work. You just need to dimensions (ID/OD).
