Day 6: Got the tins all blasted and pickled. Installed another grouping of smalls, primary, foot clutch, muffler, brakes, left hand throttle.

SKT, I guess it was word of mouth, or actually it was an off shoot comment at a bike rally in Blaney Park, Mi this past summer. Heard about a guy out in the sticks that had some bikes, and followed up on it a couple months later while driving thru.

Too cool, that's one of those once in a lifetime finds that so many of us are in search of!

Congrats again on this great find!

Looking forward to following your progress.

Havent had much time to work on the bike lately, but I took a little time this morning to go thru the remaining boxes and see if I could place the final parts.

Need to start the search for gasket kits.

Back down to the bare bones, Motor pulled and split the cases today. Everything checks out nicely internally.

Ready to start going back together for the final assembly.

On its way back together. I think I will have to take it for a spin without any fenders just for fun because its gonna look badass naked.

Lower cases, tranny, and carb are all rebuilt.

Well got a little done on the bike today, rebuilt primary, clutch and secondary. Pinstriped front wheel.

Waiting on my cylinder from Kiwi. Should be able to hear her run as soon as they come in.

Thanks for the offer! At this point the only thing Im missing is the retainer clip for the kickstart pedal that goes to the frame. They are available at Jerry Greers. Im just waiting on the cylinders to get back from california.

Regards A.J.

Was able to put in some serious time over the last few days on the bike. Got her up on her legs.

There comes a pinnacle point in any motorcycle build when the builder can roll it around the shop riding it, and make rumbling loud motorcycle noises and swerve to miss imaginary obstacles.

Her name is Calamity The Mismatched Indian.

She is nice, I love the way the tank flows with the line of the frame, perfect over the cylinders.
Great project. Wanna hear her purr.

Tins are nearly complete, one more wet sand and clear.

Tomorrow the cylinders are back from Kiwi. We are rolling now.
