No,...the success of MM1 is what opened that door.
Motorcycle Mania was aired in 2000, or early 01.
Monster Garage was first aired on 6/23/02 and finished on 6/12/06.
5 seasons, and when it ended, it was cable TV's highest rated show, at that time.
