I see your point, and understand what you're trying to get across, but what you call advertising, it seems, many others just consider it giving credit.
I'm not about to pretend I designed, CNC machined, and produced my Maltese cross air cleaner, so I don't mind having the WCC logo on it.
I didn't design, bend the tubing and weld together my CFL frame, so I don't mind the WCC axle covers and neck badge.
On the other hand, I have six gun risers and
oil bag cap that don't say Jesse James or Choppers Inc on the bullets,.....because they are neither.
If I pryed the bullets out and put in JJ bullets,....that would be worshipping the name over the product.
You're all about removing labeling, like with your HD, and that's your decision, but there's different degrees to this, that I'm sure even you, will agree.
I'm sure you don't sand off the Avon, Metzeler, etc.... names off your tires, wouldn't remove the "Baker" engraving off a transmission, or file down the PM, Jaybrake, or Brembo names off some brake calipers,...how about removing the S&S from the heads of an engine?
Just because people choose to have many genuine WCC parts on their WCC build, (and can actually afford them

) doesn't make them,...in your own words,...."all you other advertising fools".
It's all how you word things, Rick, and you really have a nack of putting people down, perhaps without realizing it, ...because then today you say, "to each his own".
