By the way , it came to me later, but I got distracted by some other mechanical project , puzzle related to firearms.

You can try to make a universal bracket with 2 points of attachment on the swing arm - so you can plan for a passenger, but the shape of you bent strut might still be a weak point.
I would situate a passenger seat attached from the frame, not swing arm( I would not want to be sitting on a swing arm) . There are cool and clean designs bolted on and off.
