No, if you have cylinders that have the drain holes in the side of the cylinder wall that's fine, only the stroker motors use the case style drain, if you're below 84 inches you probably have the cylinder wall drains. When you put the heads back on did you make sure that the oil drain holes in the head gaskets were lined up correctly on the cylinders? Did you replace the cylinders and/or make sure that the drains were clear?
