If the upper tree is a pinch/clamp type...

Your upper tree might only allow you to use the traditional hd setup in the top tree- that hex bolt you already have- which serves as the plug as well as tightens the leg to the tree from the top.

But if your upper tree is a pinch/clamp type- you can use any plug you want- but for that 2-hole one you need a special wrench and in the process of tightening the plug- you might scratch the hell out of it- not to mention strip those holes.

Also-i'm not even sure what the right one on the picture is?
